    Applying to be a School Governor

    Governors play a key role in leading, supporting and improving schools.

    They act as a link between parents, the local community and the school. They are impartial and make decisions that seek to improve the school.

    Our school constitution states that we will have a total of 18 governors and these will be made up of:

    • 5 Parent Governors
    • 5 Community Governors
    • 4 Local Authority Governors
    • 2 Teacher Governors
    • 1 Staff Governor
    • The Headteacher
