Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in our school. 

Our philosophy about education is quite simple.  Children only get one chance to experience childhood and they have an absolute right to the highest quality of education. 

Oldcastle Primary School aims to inspire, motivate  and  educate 440 children from the age of 3 years to 11 years.  We are an ambitious school where learning underpins excellence, individuals are valued, achievements celebrated and where our pupils, staff and community are happy and safe and learn together through a lively and innovative curriculum.

Our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, resilient and  happy citizens. At Oldcastle we are proud of each other and ourselves. We nurture our whole school community supporting everyone to grow into responsible and happy individuals. Oldcastle School is more than just learning.

Education is a partnership between home and school and we place a great deal of emphasis on our relationship with parents. We believe that children learn best when home and school work together.
