OLDCASTLE PRIMARY SCHOOL APPOINTS NEW HEADTEACHER
The governors of Oldcastle Primary School are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Headteacher from September 2021.
Mrs Ceri Littlewood was appointed following a recruitment process led by the school governors recruitment panel, the school challenge advisor and a representative from the local authority education department.
Mrs Littlewood has been instrumental in the success of the school having been a key member of the school team for 22 years having started as a year 5 teacher. Ceri has been Deputy Head at the school since 2015, and has been Acting Headteacher since January 2021.

Oldcastle Primary School is located in Bridgend, South Wales and aims to inspire, motivate and educate over 450 children from the age of 3 years to 11 years. The School has 23 teaching staff, 17 learning support officers and 4 support staff. We also cater for a number of trainee teachers and other educational professionals. We are an ambitious school where learning values underpin excellence, individuals are valued, achievements celebrated and where our pupils, staff and community are happy and safe and learn together through a lively and innovative curriculum.
